i'm washing carpets on the side so anyone in the ma/ri area that needs a carpet washed or knows anyone that wants a carpet washed get back to me. price depends on size of room ;)

Cleanig consists of a vacuuming then a mixture of cleaners-scotch guard protector, color enhancer, fabric softener, anti mold/mildew, non-allergen, non toxic and no ammonia.

Only washes the carpet and not the padding underneath the carpet. Will dry within 1-1 and a half hours.

Small room-$20
Medium room-$30
Large room-$40

6 hours??? what do you do to your car?

I'm going to pay the $150 to have them polish and wax the car this spring. There are some swirls and small chips that they said they could fix for that amount...

On the topic of a cleaning mod meet, I think it would be a cool idea! Just do it on a springtime Sunday!

Sounds like a great idea for a meet. Dave, I'd love it if you brought the carpet shampoo thingy for the cars.
Then, with clean cougars, imagine the pictures we could get.

Back to home carpet shampooing...........is my living room LG or MD?

Sassy:)

It's only done twice a year (spring & fall). The normal time for me to wash & wax my car is 3hrs, add another hour if I do a coat of liquid wax on top. But my system goes:

Wash car in Palmolive liquid dish cleaner- 20min

Wash car in Meguiar's Gold Class Car Shampoo & Conditioner - 30min

Apply Meguiar's Step-1 Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner - 45min

Claybar the car w/the Meguiar's QuickDetailer kit - 1 1/2hrs

Apply Meguiar's Step-3 Deep Crystal Polish - 1hr

Apply Meguiar's #26 Paste wax - 1 1/2hrs

Apply Meguiar's Gold Class Clear Coat Liquid Wax - 1hr

Finish off the black trim w/Meguiar's Natural Shine Vinyl & Rubber Protectant - 20min

Wipe down the tires with Meguiar's Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Spray - 5min

All that, with a couple breaks for a drink & lunch/dinner is pretty much a full day. And tomorrow...I tackle the interior! :)

Holy crap that is a lot of work! I have had some long days polishing and waxing but wow!

I guess that is why your car looks so nice though.

im up for it, too! all i ever do is just carwash or Zymol wash/wax. I bought a Mequires cleaning kit with a Costco gift card after christmas & i cant wait to use it! I've got other stuff I want to do too this spring. I'm thinking maybe a meet down here if anyones up for it... I already mentioned it to Jay. im getting new springs and rear struts before the warmth. This spring the garage will be empty.

edit: sorry for multiplying the thread hijak :cover:

You know, when I first saw the title to this thread I wondered to myself how long it would take to have a perverted reply...

Well, I'm actually surprised we made it 10+ replies!

My money would have been on xerxeese to be the first one to spit out the first rug cleaning joke. But once again I was surprised!

I guess things really do get slow around here in the winter!
