Your best bet would be asking Brandy in So-cal. She was actually just there this last weekend. I've been a couple times and I do know the Stratosphere is at the end of the strip. Not bad but a little far from most of the other hotels and casinos.
Need some NorCal Help! (Vegas Info)
Since there isnt a NV chapter..you guys are the closest. I figured since Vegas was so close to you guys, most of you have been.
I haven't been to Vegas since I was 15 and I just need some basic info on what to do/see.
I am going for SEMA around Halloween and staying at the Stratosphere. I definately want to go see Cirque du Soleil..but as far as bars and strip clubs, I have no clue what to do.
Any suggestions?

thanks. Ill be there for five friggin days and I have no clue on what to do.
I know for sure that Monday night we are going to Halloween parties. I have no idea what I am going to be..I just know that it has to be good. Then tuesday or wednesday we are going to Cirque du Soleil...
I really want to go to Club Blue, Coyote Ugly...but that's about the only bars I know.

NorcalCoug could probably give you a good idea on those..
Take a cab to the Spearmint Rhino. That club [censored]ing rocks.
Also, try the Crazy Horse Too and Cheetahs. I believe all of those are off the strip, but a cab will get you there OK. You may have to watch out and ask the cab to drop you off a half block away, something about some weird grandfathered law about charging $20 on top of fare to go to a strip club. I dunno, surf google and find out on that one.
Coyote Ugly at New York, New York is pretty awesome, especially if you're a chick. You'll pretty much get quite a few drinks near free. They love having drunk women in there as it tends to attract more paying men.

Just hop in like you're a local and you'll be fine. Put a bored look on your face, don't carry a bunch of tourist crap, say "Oh, just take me to 'whatever name'" and you should be OK.

Cabs are kool out here as long as you get picked up from hotel, and yes it does cost more to get into strip clubs for tourists or i f you take a cab, b/c the cabbies get some kickbacks of coarse.
If im not to worked out and have some free time i can come out and tag along for a few bars =)

Yeah I was Just there, Stayed at the Palms (Bad Idea) I did not like the hotel at all. I guess the bedt part was topless tuesdays at the pool, and you can skinny dip too.
I suggest staying somewhere around the belagio caesars palace, harras or if you stay off strip the rio. If you stay at the Stratosphere (witch is ghetto) its a long travel to get anywhere.
As for clubs Cyote Ugly roCKS!!!!! Try A show like KA at the MGM Grand
