I am installing my S2000 Engine start button and i searched for a detailed removal of this and got a few threads but none we detailed enough for me to do this safely.......

can any1 tell me how to get it out?

goto the teamneco site and look up the dash removal how to. it is on there.

You have to remove the center console to do this. The how to on dash removal should be enough. Just to forewarn you the cig lighter is a PITA to remove off of the plastic surround.
