There is a lot of work going into this Halloween meet and I need some input from you all on how to distribute prizes in a fair way. I dont wanna be the one deciding who gets stuff and who doesnt. Everyone will get something but the nicer prizes are limited due to funding...outta my pocket I wont tell what the prizes are but need categories for contests; thing such as this-

Scarriest costume
Funniest costume
Best dressed car
Best modded car

...yeah, thats as far as I can think. None are set yet and so far I have 6 gifts to give away and will maybe have a couple more by the weekend if I come across something irresistable...though it'd have to be amazing and cheap for me to spend more $$ on this stuff :cover:

Please gimme some ideas stricktly related to the question here- all other meet suggestions should keep going to the other post (and suggestions are very welcome because this is a club by the people and if it matters to one it matters to all :grouphug: )

(oh, Diane and myself will not be elegible but we will be in costume so your chances of winning just got better by 2!! )

Slade, I ll have some cash for reimbersment(sp) to help fund the prizes. I like your ideas so far, but take out the modded car. Thats too serious of a category bro. But the other 3 are great. As for more help, well hell I dont know I m too uncreative lol. See ya soon buddy!!

Yeah I'm not sure 'best modded car' is a great idea. It's kinda too vague and I don't think anybody has done anything huge recently.

As far as categories go and whatnot i think they're great. And if Best Modded Car as a category is an iffy you could always change it to car with most outrageous mod or something to that extent. And i'm not necessarily talking about ghetto mods...cause we all know who'd win that...:biggrin:

i like the contests as well, but i agree wth everyone else on the modded car thing. and i cant really think of anyother good categories off the top of my head, but i will keep thinking! and if i think of anything, and its too late to let you know. i can throw in some $ for the prizes too if you want me too. but ill keep trying to think!

Thanks for the ideas- need more though cuz I think there is gonna be more prizes due to 2 people stepping up and offering money (I just need to know specifically how much ). Ok so far it's

1. Scarriest costume
2. Funniest costume
3. Scarriest car
4. Funniest car
5. Cleanest car (interior/ exterior/ and engine bay/ hatch included)
6. Most outrageus mod (thas prolly gonna be hard to decide)
7. Best ghetto fabrication/ modification (I really like this one!)
8. Farthest drive to the meet (this is a good one that past cougarfest have given prizes for)

Others......... (so far I gotta buy at least 2 more things and I have ideas so keep em comming)

BTW- you can only win one category per car/person so just because you have a funny, yet scarry and heavily ghetto modded car you cant win 3 times.

Oh, and if this works out I will start looking for sponsors/ discounts/ better prizes for future meets. Maybe instead of being a moderator I can become a meet organizer...or basically a car meet pimp. I wont plan meets but rather help those planning to come up with cool giveaways and events so we arent just hangin out BSing all the time about the mod's we'd do if we werent all broke. I do have an inside track on a few things so it goes as far as you all want to participate...or not. Lets see how this all works out.

Ok- so I picked up some more stuff for the giveaways. I think there is stuff for like 4 or 5 more categories so that makes a total of 10 or 11 I think. That should be at least half the people I think. Now dont get too excited cuz really what can you get for $2-3 per thing. Some are maybe better than others and none are particularly great so please feel free to talk behind my back about how the prizes suck. This is new for me too Those of you who know me know how I have strange tastes and get strange ideas in my mind so you prolly wont be surprised at what I bought:crazy:
