Just having trouble mounting it. First the places on each side where you are supposed to drill the 2 holes for the mounting brackets. Well the stock bumper is about an inch wide in that area and on this Z bumper i have less than a half in to work with witch leaves no room to drill the holes. Second no matter how i move it around there is about a half inch gap under the drivers side headlight. And the center part where the 4 push tabs go, the bumper has too much of an angle upward to even drill these holes or to even put the tabs in. I mean it'll flex a lil bit but there would be alot of strain on the fiberglass if i push it down flat..... ANY!! help would be appreciated, i can take pics upon request if thats what it'll take. Just to let ya know Ryan, I get my car back tommorrow from the paint shop. Ill post pics of the support system that was built for the bumper. I would advise against using that crappy plastic support thats stock. Also, use the bracket supports that attach to the bottom ends of the bumper to keep it from flaring out.

When I got my Dragon Z it had the same problems yours does. My dad and I spent a good 3 days fiberglassing pieces just like widening that edge that you drill the 2 holes into. We jsut built it out about another 1/2 inch. Good luck gettin it all done.

Yeah this bumper is getting expensive. I dont know anything about fiberglass so yesterday i took mine to a bodyshop that specializes in working with like seadoo's and other stuff made of the fiberglass. said it would run me about 150 bucks to extend the fiberglass a half inch, get the spider cracks out, totally sand it down and be basically ready for paint. And then i got another bodyshop i know of that is about to do work on another silver coug. so if i throw the bumper in with it, he'll charge me 50 bucks to shoot it. hopefully it all works out after i try to fit it on again. Any other tip are greatly appreciated. Thanks guys

man...honestly with that bumper.....try taking it to a shop that you know kinda well. and just ask them to put it on. They probably know something you dont and let them solve that problem. Dont tell them they need to extend anything. See how that goes

EDIT: AND be sure that they dont leave your bumper like the above picture....make sure its tucked in with the stock brackets
double edit: that was before my accident and my first dragon z front....i had different issues with the second LOL
