Hey all,

I was out taking off my rear Mercury emblem on my trunk. I got that thing off without a problem. Now, however, my Ford Emblem is not aligning. I thought that someone said that the holes from a Focus align perfectly. I thought that my emblem, part number F2TZ-9842528-A, was from a Focus.

Does anyone know if I have to drill two more holes in my trunk or cut off the posts on the emblem or, is there just a total new emblem I need to buy!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Just cut the posts off. I have a Mustang one on mine

Any suggestion on what to use? I don't have a hacksaw anymore

I used a freakin' table saw.... pretty ghetto.

Anyway, I am not waiting for someone to help me make sure I align it straight before putting it on. I just didn't want to have to go out and buy another emblem...ya know?
