First off this isn't meant to offend bballer34, but how can you complain with an unmodded, "2000 Special Edition Cougar." When I was 17 I drove a beeter S-10 that I paid for with the money I earned from my part time job. I would have been on the biggest badass on the block (at least in my own mind) if I owned a car like that at 17 years old. No-one ever seems to be content anymore with what they have. Heck, I loved that old S-10 (didn't like that it was a Chevy), it took me everywhere me and my friends wanted to go. Ride with Pride bballer34, you have a nice car as is.

bballer, when I was 17, I drove a 1980 Chevy Chevette that cost me $400. It smoked through the dash, man and only went 55mph downhill with a strong tail wing! I got rid of the "Put-Put" for my mom's '91 Ford Escort. Be very, very happy with your car!!!!

I bought my 2000 black cat when I turned 21 cuz the Escort died. Now, I'm 22 and I'm actually paying money to make my car look like yours does with that wing...

Black wasn't the first car I had. My first car was only a 2000 SE silver cougar. I got the black one months later. Here it is...

Im 17 and i can afford some mods for my coug. Ive actually had the car since i was 16 but i didnt get my liscense until 6 mos ago. bballer dont worry about not having mods, its still a chick magnet. just work hard over the summer and ull get some good stuff. ive had a job since i was 13 so thats how i got my coug (or at least so i can afford payments) last summer i worked form 5AM-10PM at $10 an hour/$15 when overtime to get the last bit i needed for the car. I work drastically less now but ive still been able to get a yodude, light covers and limo tint. you said you were looking for mods to do, well yodude exhaust its $290 + $75 install and it was the best money ive spent on my car yet. if u have any other questions let me know

Hmmmm. I didn't even have my own car when i was 17. My dad let me drive his 3/4 ton 1978 Chevy van. It was black with tintied windows. People would hide their children when I drove past.

The first car I purchased was... a 1987 Chevy Nova! When I totalled that one, I bought a 1991 Hyundai Excel. Yes, money was an issue while I win in college.

But, now I'm a working man. I took everything (after taxes) that I earned during my first year of employment, and bought a 1999 used Cougar. Sportiest/newest thing I could afford...
