Finally finished installing my Angel Eyes yesterday. Here's some pics of both the wiring i did and of the eyes lit up. Sorry the pic quality is crap. Oh, and i know that i didn't have to wire them using a pc board like that. I did it just to see if i could do it.

Edit: Attempting to fix the red x's....again. I think i might of got it this time thanks to crazybeerguy.

now why didnt mine turn out as good as yours? were you just trying to make mine look not as good as yours, so once you finished people would be like "damn, those put that JAMallott kid's to shame!"

just pretending bro, those look very very nice! and yours are sooo bright too! i love em!

EDIT: i see why those are so much brighter than mine.....you have cowls! since my headlights are like the oldest ones out there, and didnt come with cowls (and have melted and boiled because of it), they dont have that piece of metal to replect all that light off of. i bet that makes a huge difference. just one more reason for the cowls.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

I used 5mm radioshack brand LEDs rated at 2600mcd wired to 220 ohm resistors.

And the rod is hexagonal shaped mini-blind rod. At first i couldn't find any. Everybody either had some small star shaped rod (which does work, we used that in JAMollot's eye's, i just don't like them cause they're thin), or a hallowed out rod that was too thick. I finally got frustrated and decided to buy a mini-blind set just for the rod. I bent that set and whatnot just fine. But i messed up and misread the how to. Instead of drilling into the ends i drill into the sides towards the ends. So the wires and crap stuck out of the bottom of the eye and just looked like utter crap. So i tossed them. I finally found a place in Sandusky that dealt with mini-blinds specifically and the guy had a small stack of them. He gave me a 50" section of the stuff for free. I was going to make 6. But unfortuneatly only had enough for 5. So i just made those four and used the rest to replace the rod on the mini-blind that i bought.

I also machined a couple jigs to aid me in bending and drilling the ends. And they help out a lot. I've used them to bend mine, JAMallot's set, and i just finished bending another set for another member and sent them to him. Now i'm about to bend yet another set for another member. I should start a business lol.

The pc board and black box is also radioshack brands.
