Alright, did a little search before becoming frustrated so here it goes.

How much of a gain, if any, would I get from a highflow maf.?
Do they need recalibrated and if so what does this involve doing?
What's the stock diameter of the MAF versus the high flows?
Would you just swap it in for your stocker and be done with it?
Which brands would you prefer and is this basically even worth it.

I'm hooking up my intake prolly tomorrow (Bomz) and I figured I might as well go ahead and replace this. Sorry for the length but I was reading up and trying to pair up fragments and now I'm all confused. Thanks in advance.

Your stock MAF is good through a LOT of upgrades. Really, unless you go with an entire SVT top-end with larger injectors and full cat-back with headers and Y-pipe, you'll never outgrow your stock MAF.

Right on, Andy. Even the 3L hybrid with all the standard 2.5L bolt-ons doesn't max out the stock MAF. Maybe F/I, but not N/A. I never recommend any kind of MAF or injector upgrade unless you specifically receive the "MAF signal out of range high" or "Bank indicates lean" (due to injector duty cycle being maxed out) CEL, in which case you're in the top 5% for severity of mods...
