Ok, I'm ordering the Pro-Flow MAF tomorrow and it says in their website that I need to supply them with the following info:

Filter Type
Serial No. from stock MAF module
Production date
and any modifications I have done to the engine

the answer to the first one I think would be that I'm using the KKM intake but the rest I'm not sure where to find and how to answer it. Soooo, if anyone has the MAF installed or have ordered it, I need a some help finding the above info. Thanks in advance!

hey, just copy down all of the numbers on the maf, exatly like they are. i think its like 4 or 5 lines, you also need to get the production date from the drivers door seal and tell them if you have any mods done. fyi the maf will not work with any performance chip. you have to get a custom burn done on the chip to be able to use the maf. my superchip is in my closet waiting for me to finish my mods so that i can get a custom burn.

so this new maf has to get reset everytime you add a new mod? does it have to get sent back to the maker to get done or can it be done by a local shop

dumb question...whats a MAF?

mass air flow sensor ,its between your throttle body and your air filter.i think it tells the computer how much fuel to add by messuring the amount of air that gets sucked in through it.could be wrong on the purpose though.
