I'm going to end up dropping my gas tank soon and changing my wonderful fomoco fuel pump out. Anyone that's done this that could give me some hints or even a small how-to would be great.
Also, if i drop the tank, do i still need to go through the access panel underneith the backseats? As you can see, im going to need some help. Thanks

Give me an e-mail account with no file size limit and I can send you picts that will help you out immensly. Also you either drop the tank OR go through the back seat. Obviously the back seat is way easier you just have to cut a tiny bit of sheet metal and make the hole there slightly larger, no biggie and well worth the saved time of dropping the tank! Thanks alot for all of the detailed pics kinger. You have been extremely helpful!! Any tips/ suggestions from anyone who's done this would be great. Oh, and where can i get the lowest flow walbro for my stock I4 cougar. I just want something that will fit with no modifications. If walbro doesn't make such a pump i think im going to have to put out $200 and go with the ford fuel pump. Thanks !
