Ya know how when ya hit the lock door on the remote button and the headlights, sidemarkers, and taillights flash? Well after today mine dont. I was out putting two more neons under my seats and when I locked up afterwords I sat there locking like 7 or 8 times to try and get them to flash but they never did. Im not too concerned but just wondered if anyone might have any insight as to what happend?
If you have an alarm I think it is disconnected. I have a intermittent problem with my alarm. It's been back to the dealer so many times I can't count. The alarm was going off randomly. I wish someone could figure out what is wrong. To disable the system I disconnected the hood switch. After disconnecting the switch the lights stop flashing when I lock the car using the remote. I think you disconnected the hood switch or one of the other switches (door, hatch...)
Yup... that sounds about right. I was hoping nobody would jump in with the generic 'check your fuses' help - in this case, I highly doubt a fuse is involved.
If one door is not closed all the way, including trunk the lights will not blink.
