So as you can see the first car down to their shop will recieve a 300 dollar discount. Thus, if there is anyone in FL that is willing to be the test vehicle you will recive a discount and should get down there asap. I would love to do it but I'm from Sunny California and can't afford to drive down there and fly back.

Someone please step up and get down there. The number is in the email.

That's a $300 discount on a $1900 package. Somehow i don't see just anybody running down there to get that done. Maybe James. Other than him we can't get people to follow through when they commit to group buys for a few hundred bucks.

I do realize that it's a ton of money. However, there may be someone out there that wants this kit bad enough to save up for a while and get it done.

The kit is perfectly leagal in my state and is leagal in many states it depends on the state though. Also, I believe that these kits open up just like stock or veritcal.

I just posted it cause I thought there may be some interest out there. I remember a while ago a thead about these kits had tons of replies so i figured there would be a chance of finding someone out there that could do this.

How many days are we talking? I will be in the area on Dec 10th, 2003 and could have the car at their location for 2 business days before having to be in Miami.... Let me know details... I personally dislike Lambo doors, but will do anything to have a part made for the vehicle that people want.

There has already been a thread about this in FL, and quite a few of FLNECO members (including myself) have contacted Mike at carexcess....they're over in Clearwater (about 15 min from Tampa) he said he would contact one of us when he's ready to have the Cougar in the shop. If my car is the one he uses, TRUST ME I'll definately post pics once it's done :thumbsup:

i might wanna do da lambo doors. i was told by some other company that You can modify the 1992 to 1995 Honda Civic VDC to work with your car. so that might be another possibility

i talked with carexcess a few months back about doing my friends 4 door E46. they told me that there was indeed already a cougar that was in the works. hmmmmm???? maybe they HAD a cougar lined up and they backed out? anyway glad to see there is intrest. if anyone in the MN area would like to see if the kit can be made power give me a shout. ill be game to try it for you.

I had emailed them last month about a possible sponsorship for this kit for my Cougar. They told me to email them back in spring. So who knows what that ment.

Just an update... I talked to Noah and he is requesting a cougar for 5 business days and will require payment of $2000.00. At this time I do not know for certain if I will take the leap on this
