Same thing as pedl2damedal posted before only im wondering how much you guys pay for car payments and insurance. how many points do u have or have u had on your license and accidents. how much were repairs for your accident as well. how old are you and what year is your cougar? im just wondering because im tired of paying too much for my insurance. trying to see what everyone is paying.

i bought my 99 in september 2002 on a 1000 down payment. i pay 196.71 till sept 2007. my insurance is 2800 a year. ive been in one accident in october of 2002 with 3000 damage to my car, the other vehicle was fine. ive never been pulled over and fined.

I paid $1200.00 when I was ~23 with FULL coverage. It was down to around $740.00 when I was 25.

I sold me cougar and now pay $1400.00 for my 2003 Beemer.

I've totalled four cars, BUT WON all of the appeals(they were cheap cars so $2,000 in damage totalled the car).

So, I'm at a step 9, which in the great state of Taxachusetts, is the lowest you can go.

I'd suggest checking out other insurance providers as your rate seems exhorbitant.

i bought my car a year ago its a 99 it had 11,000 miles ago. it will be paid off december 04. i pay 313 a month with the shortest term loan and i pay bouble payments. never been pulled over, never an accident nothing. i pay 1000 dollars a year for the maximum coverage i can get.

I pay about 1000 a month on my cougar, insurance is 10000 a year, and im 2 years old. No accidents but about 30-35 tickets on my record(this is the only serious part). Zero crashes too.

Insurance = I believe $1200?

move to massatwochitts - step 9 was paying $1500 I think full coverage
back to albany, ny over 25 discount, paying around $62 a month

1 accident while I lived in MA - around $800 damage (they tried to screw my insurance company for $3500 and lost - probably wasn't even $800 worth of damage) to a 95 honda civic (I swear the cougar just attacked it...)

no tickets, clean record other than the honda incident which I don't know if it even shows up now...

edit: car was paid off early, but bought with $500 down plus $400 college grad credit, payment was 396.52 per month for 5 years 8.25%

i bought my 00 in november 2000 for 22,000 with a ford discount and a dodge neon trade in. i pay 289 a month for 5 1/2 yrs which means i have a little less than 2 and 1/2 yrs to go. my insurance is 1380 a year for 2 cars (get married, u'll get discounts out the waz). i havent been in any actual accidents with my car but i've had a large tree branch fall on it while it was parked at work, i dont remember the cost probably 4-5 hundred. i've had a wooden roadblock horse thrown on the hood, never repaired the dent it is right above a support member for the hood. its been keyed across the hood, and i havent repaired that mainly cause after these two happened i was expecting to get a new custom hood anyways. (and that might not happen now). also someone nicely opened their car door into mine and made a nice little impression. i've had 6 tickets in my life, 2 from the cougar a speeding and a parking. from one of my tickets about 4 years ago i got 5 points for 89 in a 55 and lost my lisence for 15 days. (that was in my 89 escort gt). and thats all folks.

Tickets = 5 speeding I think, but they all got knocked down to a headlight or taillight out

Accidents = None with this car, got hit while parked at a football game, hit and run since I was a the game. Insurance paid $1000 out of $2500, long story there.

Tickets = 0, gotten out of 2 myself and my friend out of 1

Insurance = $95ish/month, I was at less then $90 but lost my "Good Grades Discout" but I think I get that back this semester. YAY! Also this is full coverage on anything I drive no matter who owns it.

Cougar = 2001 V6 MTX, but they dont know about any of my modifications.

thank you all for your help. sorry if i offended anyone while asking for help. i was only asking because i felt that i was paying a ridiculous price and couldnt complain if u guys were all paying the same amount. i understand different areas=different prices but every insurance in america goes by the standard book. judging by your guys post ive been paying too much and need to talk to a broker. thanks again for everyones input, adam

Payment: 2002 ATX bought with 6 miles and i pay $361.24 for 5 years (or a couple more weeks if everything goes right)

Insurance: Im not sure exactly beings i paid it to my dad a while ago for the year. Its dirt cheap though because im on my parents, i know its under $100 a month.

Driving History: No tickets or points, well not in Pa at least.

Accidents: 1 accident, 6k worth of damage to the front end of my last cougar.

Payment: As of last december I took a loan for $5000 for "mods" I pay 100 a month for 5 ears, should pay it off MUCH sooner though
Insurance: $67/month with 2 tickets in the last 2 years and no chargable accidents
