In the community for my other car, I discovered this cool little mod that I installed on that other car and really like it.
I REALLY think it would be great for our cars since we have flush, body colored door handles, and I was surprised that I'd never heard of it here before.
I'll definitely be putting these on Foundracer.

UGH need those for the Bullitt. Wife CAN NOT seem to close the door without smudging up the paint. "USE THE GLASS" i say, every time, since it's easy to wipe clean. But no.

They are a lot lighter than the Cougar doors, to be sure.

I ordered a pair. Price is pretty eye-watering for what you get, but shipping is free, which is a miracle, so…

I can see how $25 would seem high for an ounce of poly and six inches of tape...but if I tried to fabricate something similar myself I would probably spend four hours or more, and probably spend $50 in materials so...I'm good with it.
I'm very confident that they are strong enough for the Cougar doors (at least on level ground), so if the Mustang doors are easier than ours, you should be good.

Still waiting for my delivery - they were supposed to arrive on Saturday but tracking was updated to say "arriving late" - hopefully today!

I put one on Foundracer this weekend. Due to the shape of our doors, there's not really anywhere to mount it vertically that's also high up on the door. I elected to go with diagonally. It works fine, its just feels a little unnatural. It will serve the purpose though.

We're apparently having postal service issues in our area - I haven't received any mail since last Thursday or Friday. So I guess once the USPS gets its act together I'll get my merchandise.

This one was a spare that I didnt bother to install on the P-side of my other car because any passengers will probably never use it anyway. It takes a little practice to remember its there.

So my order apparently got lost in shipping. It was supposed to arrive on 4/22, but the last tracking update was on that day - in Oregon. Nothing since.

So I emailed Cravenspeed yesterday and they are sending me another. Hope this one makes it!

That's a bummer. I've placed two orders with them lately and got immediate shipping with no problems on both orders so I would suspect it was a legitimate error somewhere.

Yeah, I don't fault Cravenspeed at all. I ordered from them a couple of years ago; it's where I got the supercharger pulley for my MINI Cooper S. Great customer service, no complaints. It's just that the US Postal Service is such a shambles these days...

Side note, I did also find this other supplier that seems to be claiming ownership over the concept. They have some different sizes and colors. I'm tempted to order a green anodized one for the Cougar
