I am looking to buy this Ford Cougar 2000, however, I am uncertain as to its identity as advertised. It is labelled an "Eibach edition" and although it appears to have the right trim (bonnet scoop, side skirt, decal, Euro style spoiler), they don't seem to be the correct the wheels. They 16" alloys, typical of the stock standard SW build, not the 17" rims that every Eibach Cougar is listed as having. Is there a way for me to verify when inspecting in person, whether or not this is a genuine Eibach Cougar? Thanks in advance for your expertise in helping me with this inquiry.

There’s no version like that. Maybe they’re confusing it with a Roush. It could just have the Eibach suspension kit. It’s got the 01 hood scoop and the visteon sides and rear spoiler but not the front lip.

It‘s basically a standard 99-00 model with part of a body kit, a fake scoop and maybe different suspension.
