Hello, im looking to paint my interior (dash-door panels etc) and i was wondering if there was a brand or type of paint i should use. I was thinking of using the plasti dip paint but i know it peels and fades after awhile.
Generally any paint will work, try to get automotive paint for your exterior, it will look a lot better and hold up better too. the more effort you put into it the better it will look. if you just want fast and easy it will look cheap and scratch off. Sand it, Sand it, and sand some more, then prime it and you can see where your flaws are and resand and sand, then prime again, until you are satisfied. if you give up and have one piece that has a lot of work done to it and the rest are simply sprayed. your interior will look terrible, Yes that comes from personal experience.
Try to check out SEM paint. I always heard good things about it especially for interior application.
