open the pics in paint, go to image then stretch/skew and put in a smaller percent(use the same percent in both boxes to keep the pic proportional....also, you may have a pic that is a bmp or something that is a larger file size, after you resize, save it as a .jpeg

If you have Windows XP you can downland the Image Resize utility the Microsoft has. Here is the download link .

Once its installed, just right click on the file of the photo you want to resize, and then select "resize pictures", and it's pretty obvious what you need to do from then. Normally 800x600 shinks the file size down small enough to upload it to the forum.
