I went to home depot and got a rubber flange with 3" on one end and 4" on the other. the piece cost me less than 10$ CDN and came with hose clamps. you can find it in plumbing... anyhow the deal is that the 4" part is much bigger than the 3.75" KKM intake... but you can squeeze it down, just keep on tightening the clamp... after i did this i checked to ensure a good seal and i have it.... this is not the best solution but does work.
the filter itself has more of a sucking sound than the KKM... i'll find out about performance today.... when i go for a "little" drive
