Yeah, I had that problem, I believe it was that a vaccuum line that controls the vents had been cut. Unfortunately(Well, fortunate for me), it was under warranty, so I'm not sure exactly what was involved to replace the vaccuum line.

Open up your dash, and check to see if the cabling to the back of the switch is connected - we had this problem at CF when we did gauges, it was the wiring that had come loose.

Or else you blew a relay in your heater. This just happened to me in my Peterbilt, the heater would only blow on defrost, changed the relay, was goooood to go! Hope that might help!
