take off those round Mercury thingie off from back of my Coooga?
I got Europian grill coming, and want to take them off so I can put Ford sticker on it

Just heat it up a little, and either put a fishing line behind it and pull it off or use something else to pry it off (I used a screwdriver, you may scratch the paint a little but the emblem I replaced it with was big enough to cover the scratches). Then use some goo-gone to get rid of the sticky stuff that remains.

Fishing line works the best. That is what i did. Make sure you have gloves on cuz the fishing line will cut up your hands.

Ditto on the fishing line. WD 40 works on removing the residual goo off the car.

Next time please post a more descriptive title than "how to....." like "removal of rear mercury emblem" Don't forget the nice Red Search Button.

Don't forget to take the hook off the fishing line, I had to have my trunk re-sprayed due to all the scratches.
