Does anybody have any tips/tricks to getting the cover off? I tried this a few weeks ago,(I just want to spray some NightShades on the reflector) and the damn sealant was so tacky, I thought I was gonna break the plastic corner off. Anyway, I thought I'd give it a shot again. Any help is gretly appreciated.

Be careful around the corner. My salvage lights were already partially missing them, but:

start inserting a sharp and strong screwdriver around that portion by the corner. As soo as you can get some separation, slide in another one to keep it wedged open. That stuff is incredibly strong, but once you actually get about halfway done, you should be able to just pull them apart.

O yeah, be careful when sticking the screw drivers in there not to hit any of the lights/bulbs/etc.
Go light on the primer too. Think I may have overdone it at one point and am sanding like a mofo.

Currently have mine apart and am just waiting to get a garage heater as it is getting too cold to paint.

I didn't have any problems when I was taking mine apart.....they look REALLY good with night shades on the reflectors! :biggrin: Thats what I have on mine.....

I pretty much finisehed on of my headlights and I am debating over what to do with the reflector.

from what I have seen, nightshades is like a spray on tint for plastics??? maybe?
that is kinda why I wanted to see a pic.

When I did mine I just left the turn signal bulb in and drove with foglights (illegal).
