how to get rid of my brake pad sensor???

how do i do this. i have put new pads in and they were sensorless. how do i disable this light?? i did a search but found nothing

Wire the sensor wires together, tape it off, and be done with it. Or you could pull the console down and pull the light!

Or you could just leave it be so you'll have something to aesthetically balance out the inevitable CEL.
Heres something a little better to understand!

Easy fix if you still have the stock pads around. Take the plug from the pad, cut it off the old pad and take the two wires and wire-nut or solder them together basically to complete the circuit and shut off the light.

Which (common sense) eliminates the code in the computer... poof no CEL
You don't pop a cel from brake pads silly.

You need to just cut the harness end off it, strip the wire and ground it. All it does it complete a grounding circuit.
Buy the right brake pads? :shrug:

Maybe your just special?
I don't have sensors on any of my brake pads and i'm not getting a cel, just the light on the upper console.
im very special :biggrin: cleanest windows on the short bus thank you hehe
