All i know is that the main alarm brain is behind the glove box, Seimens is the brand of my factory one. I had a audio shop work on it and install a Viper alarm, but it never would work right. The transmission lock needing the coded key was a small problem at first, then the pin switch in the hatch wouldnt work. SO I put the factory one back in.

We (GMK and I) still haven't been able to completely disable pats. But we have disabled 3/4 of the alarm lol. The Horn was the most annoying part of everything. ( for a lil background info we have a problem because we shaved the keyholes before programming the new remote we bought, the alarm went off after Khan went in through the trunk and didn't unlock the doors before starting the car, for some reason PATS freaked and even the dealer couldn't get it to comunicate) But anyways the horn for the alarm is located in the rear quarter panel on the passenger side, to unplug you need to take the panel off. Next was the stupid hazard lights. Pulling Fuses didn't work, only made the alarm wig out more. Unhooking the battery was unsuccessful as well. Finally, Kenny Went behind the Glovebox where the Brain is, and unplugged one of the wires running to it. alarm is still active (we loss control of the power door locks from the begging) But now the car does honk and flash everytime you open something.

Lesson: DO NOT SHAVE YOUR KEYHOLES WITHOUT HAVING A PROPERLY WORKING REMOTE :stupid:

If you are having a remote starter installed it is easy....hot glue a chipped key to the back side of the dash by the igination. Other than that I don't know.
