Front Setup:
Same process as the rears, undo the collars for the spring/preload and lower it until you have plenty of room to work at the top. You will not be using the shorter spacer.
Step 1: Set the cone w/plastic washer on top
Step 2: Insert black metal plate so it sits flush
Step 3: Add spring perch and plastic bearing from upper strut mount
Step 4: Add upper strut mount
Step 5: Using a jack, support and raise the strut up into the wheel well careful not to compress it too far. You want enough to get the strut tower cap, washer and nylon nut on. Tighten down the nut until it is flush with the top of the threads and torqued to spec.
Step 6: Like the rears, you will now set the preload and height.
Step 7: Using the speed nut kit, snap the retainer into the tab on the strut, then use a line clamp and nut to secure the brake line out of the way.
Step 8: Ensure all collars and components are tight and secure, lower vehicle onto ground and go for a short test drive. I would focus more on the ride quality (dampers/preload) over height because the springs will settle after some driving.
