I've talked about this before, but now I have a picture. I wanted to remove my taillight cover, line the trim with black electrical tape, and re-install the covers. How did I think to remove the covers? Well, everything else thats attached using 3M tape is easily removed with a little heat and some careful prying (as not to crack the clearcoat).

Well, maybe I shouldn't of used an industrial strength heat gun... maybe a normal hairdryer would of done the job. The damage in the picture below was A LOT worse. But when I re-heated the cover without applying pressure, it returned to its original shape... somewhat.
