the bearing in my compresor is shot and i have a shorter serpentine belt on bypassing the compressor....

how hard would it be for me to replace with a new one?
what pocedure is involved?

i searched and nothing about installing a/c came up

First of all u need to evacuate the R-134a out of the system, remove the compressor, fill new compressor with PAG oil (if not yet filled). replace compressor and lines, vacuum the system and refill with R-134a to specifications

This is assuming u have access to a A/C machine
