i think its called a courtesy bulb in the headlight... its very small and sits between the high and low beams. on the back when i try to pull it out it just seems to spin. i tried to pull it out but that didnt work either... any help??? i saw that excelcier has his in a hyper white, so i know that it can be removed...

I have red led's in those holes, but originally there weren't bulbs of any kind in those holes, just a small plastic lense.

well mine light up, and its an ugly yellowish white... i would love to put some white led's in there got a how to???

Yup, 01-02 headlights have those - supposedly, you just pull to get them out, but I have yet to be able to get them to budge...

you just pull up on it. its a standard 194 bulb i replaced mine with 194 wedge style led bulbs

squeeze it from both sides and pull straight up on it. it will come out

pull directly outward. the socket is made to grip, just hard to get at. LED bulbs can be bought at www.superbrightleds.com. i have some pictures postedhere

i got it out finally, used some needle nosed pliars... now i have some nice white led bulbs in there that match my xenon bulbs!!!

Sweet! I was also wondering how to get these out. I though that I was going to have to take the head lamp assembly apart and get at them from the front.

I stand corrected...mine's a 99 so I just had a plastic lense in that hole...red led's look better!!!
