I need help on installing neon pedals on the 99 cougar the stock pedals are funky and the neon pedals dont seem to have the same shape as the ghetto as cougar pedals anyone know?

They went on my MTX pedals just fine:shrug: with the exception of the accelerator pedal. I have to get longer bolts for the top half to fit snug. Other than that they went right on.

Tell me about it I tried installing aftermarket pedals and they fell right off after 1 day of use. The pieces that wrap around the stock pedals need to be longer for a better grip.

The brake pedal shouldn't be a problem... just use a ton of double-sided tape (black if you can find it) on the accelerator... thats what I did about 9 months ago, haven't had any problems at all. Besides, you need to be sure that your brake pedal is covered securely... gotta be able to stop quickly, but the accelerator really isn't as important...

... and believe me, with an ATX, the accelerator really isn't important

If you don't want to use tape, then take the pedal guards off, then drill through them... but the tape should be more than adequate for everyday use.
