I was reading an article in a waiting room about the Stillen Infinity G35 where they used a hood with a raise in it so they could accomodate a Roots supercharger in an automatic Infinity G35. Is this the simple solution for our ATX to get a supercharger?

A raised hood would help a roots type charger, however since the intake manifold is currently right up against the hood you'd need a significant lift. In addition, I'm not aware of any roots type chargers for our engine that exist yet.

The G35 isnt a transverse mounted engine either.

If you had a 3-4 inch cowl hood I could fit a roots supercharger easily.

Screw the cowl, just run without a hood. Or cut a hole in it.

Put this hood on your cougar and I can fit any supercharger or whatever you want on the engine...

I'd still take it. 6.40's at 230 in the quarter with 1650hp and 1300ft/lbs torque. :hitit: :smoke-t:
