Got home around 5, never saw more than a few drops of rain taking 69 back up, hope everyone else had pleasant weather.

Home before 2pm. Left front is making some hellaceous noises; I'm suspecting a wheel bearing has crapped the bed. Haven't had the motivation to get it up off the ground to check.

Fun CougarFest. I like these new events with a small amount of people; makes the personal interaction a lot more enjoyable when everyone does everything together.
Home around 7 pm. Check engine light came back on, but the car ran beautifully.
Was home by 11:20 A, and getting hugs from the boys and making lunch by 11:35 A. Sorry I missed breakfast, but couldn't wait to get back. Car drove great on both legs of the drive, was getting better than 31 mpg according to the computer on the highway coming back. (Then it broke it's sunroof in the rain this morning, what you gonna do?)

Second Andy's point, and wished I could have been there for the Friday events.
we left kokomo at 7ish, made the drive to the casino with no issues. justing left at the half way point of the event. i was making my second run in the afternoon and something let loose. car made it home on the trailer about 430 last night. motor starts up and runs fine. i think after the dragcross on sat the clutch couldnt take all the torques any longer.

we had some hiccups along at fest this year, but i had a good time while i wasnt laying under my car

I know I speak for Whitney and myself it was really tough missing out first Cougarfest in 6 years, but hopefully schedules align better next year (and it wouldn't hurt if it were a bit closer to Pittsburgh either :)

Hope everyone had fun, and hopefully we'll see everyone next year, wherever it may be!!!
Definitely feeling the Depression. :(

Or maybe that's because I'm at home doing chores. Better than being at work, though!

North Park would be a beautiful location for the show.

Yeah, and if we co-ordinate the right weekend, I know BeaverRun has Auto-X, and there are a few Dragstrips north of Pittsburgh too.

I think a good area to stay would be Wexford/Cranberry area, which would have easy access to basically everything.

Sounds like I should start researching now!!

NOW WE'RE TALKING.

Oh, I finally got the thing off the ground last night to see if I could find what was making all the noise. I didn't see anything weird at all, and everything felt tight - but the axle nut was VERY EASY to remove, so I think it was loose, which was allowing the wheel bearing to thrash around, as it was very sloppy. When I torques the axle nut back down to over 200, the bearing was tight again.

Haven't driven it yet to see if that helped, but I'll probably be driving it to work tomorrow.
Aren't the axle nuts TTY?
