When installing a short shifter in a 01-02 model there is a grey spider looking piece on the left side of the shifter housing. it is attached to a brass bar that is spring loaded. Does anyone know the name of this piece or if I can but it at the local hardware store. I broke off too many of the tabs.:flushed::evil::flushed:

Called a retainer clip
Ill get the part number...just gotta find the package in my closet

The dealer will try to tell u, that u need a whole new shift assembly..WRONG!

no prob...should be 3 bucks or less if i remember...i also have a spare one laying around
that has 2 prongs missing.
ill get the part number to u by tomorrow
