I have a custom dual dynomax exhaust that I have been having problems with. The neck of one of the mufflers has broken and instead of just replacing it I want to change from two mufflers to one. I would like to place a dynomax muffler where the resonator used to be. Does anyone know what dynomax muffler will fit there(part number).

dunno the part number but Dynomax make a Super Turbo muffler, it fit right in place where was the resonator. it have 12 inch long and 6 inch of diameter

I bought the dynomax muffler that you were talking about that is 6 inch round, but the muffler shop said that it was just to big around and would drag? Maybe they were wrong if that is what is on yours ?
