Help Hooking Bomz Intake
Ok before anyone says anything about buying crap off ebay, I know, I expected to have problems. But since this is my first intake I have a question. The intake only came with one hose that has an internal diameter of 10mm, and those work fine for connecting the two smaller hoses, but I have a question about the 3/4" air supply hose shown here.
I noticed that with the Injen intake that they give you a 15mm hose to replace this one. I think I could use the stock hose but it has an internal diameter of 20mm and the point where you would connect that hose to the intake is only 15mm. Would a clamp around the hose on the 15mm connection point on the intake be good enough of a seel or should I get a 15mm hose like the one injen uses.
Also when I was poking around on cougardb I notice someone with a Weapon R intake that was using the stock hose, so maybe someone with a Weapon R intake would have experienced this already.
Here is a pic of what i'm talking about on the injen intake.
