Before I start pulling things apart, does anyone know where the cable connections are likely to be on a heated front windscreen.
Is there a connector each end of the windscreen? I intend fitting a heated screen to my cat, but I am looking for all the loom first. Should I start looking under the dash or from under the bonnet?
I have found the wiring behind the dummy switch, also where the relay should fit (but ain't there) and the fuses (which are in situ).
Thanks Vernon.

in Europe you can get a heated windshield(or windscreen as its called over there) I thought it was standard in europe..
definitely something I would want here...
Basically a defroster for the front window.

hmm.. I always wondered what the extra wiring harness was for that's plugged into the back of the switches in the dash.

It would definatly come in handy on those mornings that I'm running late and I can't wait for the regular defroster

anyone do this in the States?

I hope they don't have little lines running thru the windsheild. That would drive me nuts.

The wires are in the bottom of the windshield where they aren't noticeably. Dodge has them on their minivans. Just another feature that Ford didn't feel that us poor Americans needed...like the heated leather seats that Europe got. It just isn't fair... :(
