has any-1 painted their grilles w/ pearl paint?

my friend just painted his truck white w/ a red pearl..& now my b/f wants 2 paint my grills a pearl color. he's painted them b-4, but now i have new grilles (compliments of a wreck)..so, he wants 2 paint these 2. i think a pearl would look good on the top & bottom grill, but i'm unsure of what color? he says yellow..i saw silver or blue! what do u guys think 'bout the whole idea? & has any-1 done this kind of paint on their grills b-4??
