Had a run with an SVT Lightning (

Went to the track last Friday evening. Only got about three runs in, and decided to stop because I havent worked all the fuel issues out with my car yet.

The only good news is I trapped 98 mph on one run which is 5mph up from my previous. I dont know what the deal is , and if my problem is traction or not. Hopefully Ill be able to head back sometime in the next month after Nopi Nationals with some stickier tires.


No I dont know what time I ran in the video, because its blurred, and I dont know where my time slips are (there were only three anyways :rofl: )


But heres how the run went. Off the line I had about a car in front of the Lightning, half way down the track he had barely a half a car on me, then at the end he was able to pull a full car length on me. I wasnt pissed at all, I love those trucks and am kinda excited I kept up with one so well. The guy was really cool in the staging lanes and talked to me a good bit about him actually owning a Cougar one time, he actually said he misses the car!
