Hey well i am having a problem with my cougar 00 2.5L V6 MTX. When i break i hear a groaning sound sorta like rubbing comming from my rear right, when i break. It mostly happens when i am close to 25MPH or less during breaking. When I take off in 1st gear it will make the goraning/rubbing sound again untill i reach about 25mph + then it stops and every thing is ok.

I'ts been extremely cold, and lots of snow has fallen. Any possible relation at all? I did take a look to see if it was my breaks rubbing but i can't tell, its too friggen cold out and i don't have a gerage to take a really good look.

It's considered "normal". It's called brake groan. Get aftermarket pads and rotors and replace all at the same time.
