ok, so I am getting tired of my gauges, and I'm wondering if I were to get new Reverse glow gauges, what if I were to cut some of the gauge so the areas with the Highbeam, Coolant, and ABS lights, were not white in color. Is there current flowing through these parts, or if cut would it still work? Also does anyone have a pic of an aluminum gauge bezel, wondering how it looks.

CustomCougars has the pic of that gauge bezel, atleast he did. I installed one its pretty nice. Actually I owned one but sold it at HCKC. As for the gauges I dont really know whyed ya wanna cut um, but yes there is still current to those lights, when you install other gauges, unless you unhook your other gauge wires.

I was referring to just the gauge face. I do not like the white showing through the holes.....um, I don't know how to be more descriptive. Sled knows what I'm talking about. My bad, hope this clears that up.

Yeah- you cut...you ruin. Sorry. Thas how i understand it anyway. Oh, and to wire it there is a good small ground bolt that is on the steering column (small and star or hex head...same as the others on the dash). The power wire goes on the headlight knob wire bundle- the RED wire with a BLUE stripe. Just watch how you run the wires to allow slack and stuff. Lemme know if you need a hand- oh, and buy some Scotch brand double sided tape (yellow package)- use it or have to redo your gauges all the time to keep from sticking needles (or pull the needles out a bit...at least that is what I was told you can do as an alternative). I have to redo Dianes this week too...couldnt find my tape and hers stick at around 60 mph or something. Good luck. PM me if you need anything.

Yeah I got Bomz Racing. They were supposed to be the blue that you have and look like this..

but no. They came gray and they're indiglo. Hardly the blue that you and Slade have. Plus they don't line up. Everything on the right is slightly tilted up. Yeah it's great. But the way the speedo sits, my speed isn't off anymore. Plus, I have a piece of double-sided tape stuck right on the top on the inside. It adds character :) Seriously though, I'll have to get a pic of them when they're on cuz the slashes above the numbers are red and you guys don't have that.

edit: check spelling

dude, those look pretty sweet.....I'm not sure about the big hole in the middle of the 2 gauges though.....

Slade, I thought yours were a little different, they had the green ring in the middle of the gauges, like these:

so I it sucks that I cant cut them so that white crap is not there......I'll have to look around for more still

On a side note this is post 200!! yea
