Has anyone converted the existing gas filler cover on the Cougar to open with a cable release, then remove the lip on the cover to give it a smoother look?

Had one on my old Probe and liked it!

Thats a cool idea, but I think for the most part people are using the Eclipse fuel door with the countersunk opener...
