I was thinking yesterday about the fact that my fuel pump is going...can i replace that with a Walbro high flow pump? with my plans for the car im going to need it sooner or later. can i put it in on a stock engine?

Flow does not matter, however pressure does. The walbro would need to be the same pressure as a stock pump.

it doesn't sound terribly safe to swap out until you make another mod. Like at the exact same time. If you put in a pump that sends way more gas than is necessary to the stock parts, it just doesn't seem like that would go well. But if it's the same pressure I think that might prevent it from sending way more than it should. It still doesn't sound safe to do ahead of time though

yea. it makes sense that the pressure would have to be equivalent. so here is a question...where can i buy a cheap fuel pump for a return style cougar?
