The car runs and drives great. Oil changed every 3k miles with mobile 1 synthetic 5w30. Looking to move it to a good home due to garage space issues. My wife picked up a summer car and I don't want this sitting outside. I'd consider parting if I can get close to the sale price so toss me offers for parts and I'll consider it.

Price: $3,500 OBO

Car is sold!

It was a return fuel system and I had been keeping up with the rust. I had sanded and resprayed a few small spots. I had continually coated the underbody to keep it at bay too. Nothing too bad.

I sold it to a random local guy. He seemed mostly interested because it was a 1 owner car. I ordered it from Mercury in 98. His dad had an older Cougar so he has been looking for one. I wasn't driving it any more and I didn't want to keep maintaining it.

I have a 2015 Audi S6 that I love. I plan to swap in some larger turbos, downpipes, and a tune into the S6 very soon. My brother has a 2014 Audi RS7 that I need to catch up to. The 4L twin turbo is already a monster and it responds very well to mods. I bought it used but the original owner custom ordered it in Porsche Rivera Blue so it's the only S6 in this color.

What are you talking about Joey? Are you drunk posting?

Also:

Ugh. Another old-timer moving on. When do we move into the phase of Cougar ownership when these cars are cool collectors items instead of dead weight taking up garage space?
