Its not so much that you need a front plate but that you are required to have 2 visible plates. I am speaking from experience as I got pulled over this summer for only have one and got a ticket. I was given 48 hours to put it back on and go a prove I did then they destroyed the ticket.

haha...2 rear plates?..worth a try

the reason i ask is that i always see pics of front bumpers..and they don't have the front plate...

i'm gettin the x-treme front, and don't want my plates to stick out like a sore thumb...

I replaced my front bumper just before spring began. I haven't had a front plate since that time. It's definitely NOT legal, but I think it's the type of thing that if a cop had nothing better to do, than he'll ticket you for it.

I'm going to play my odds.

I hate cops that only sit there eat kispy kream abit too much and pick on LITTE things. It happened to me once, but I m sure he picked on me. I was going stright on the road and a cop made a turn from another street and now he is ahead of me but He stopped waitting for me to past him and pull me over for not having a FRONT PLATE ON and I will be fine if he didn't say Bull to me. After that I file to face the judge and she void the $110.00 ticket ^.^ What a waste of time.
