Fall Meet

Ok updated info.

Place: St Charles Missouri

Time: October 22nd 2005 whenever people show up.

Mods for whoever brings them or wants work done. Tent camping or inside depending on the weather. Pleanty of drinking and talking and a hot tub for anyone brave enough to get in depending on the weather (the tub will be 95ish outside not so much)

For most of the people, the drive should only be an hour or two longer. It shouldn't be too big of an issue, but I'd post in IL and IN (if you haven't already) to see what they think.

Ya i was definately gonna do a mod meet even though i dont have anything to mod right now.

IF you guys wanna do it here and you want to hang out in the pool the sooner the better, normaly around here we shut it down by Labor day, Septemeber 5th this year. And i would think that would be a bad weekend for it since people would have other things to do? or am i wrong would hte 3 day weekend be good for everyone?

We could do it in 2 weeks but that might be too soon.... /shrug i dont know throw some dates out there people.

Sooo trying to think of a good time for this.... from talking to alot of people im thinking we're gonna do it in St Charles, at my parents place.

how does September 24th + 25th or October 1st + 2nd or October 8th + 9th sound to everyone?

Hamillfest is September 11th i think so thats out and Steves talking about doing something more along the line of a party in November possibly so im shooting for the middle of that... speak up everyone!!

The pool will be closed by then(i think), but the hot tub will be runing and i might have the deck done around the hot tub. Plus i should have plenty of room to do a Mod meet. Garage is full of crap, i could clear it out if it rained i think, but most likely we will just do all the work up top of the driveway, its nice and flat concrete.

Problem with waiting that long is no ones gonna want to mod everything when its 40 degrees out ... thanksgiving is a wierd time, few years ago it was around 70 at thanksgiving ... some years its 30 degrees out. But Slurpee is talking about a november drinking event i think.... its in the planing stages yet...

Ok then least some ones saying something definative.

So for now lets say October 1st and 2nd, Mod meet and obligitory drinking festival

will be in St Charles Missouri, my parents have a full acre lot and a long driveway, pool will probably be closed by then but the hot tub will be open. Should be enogh room to mod at least 4 cars at once on top the driveway. I have small pancake compressor and some air tools, pleanty of normal tools, and im sure we can come up with tools to do just about anything short of welding. Depending on the weather, we will either camp out side or we can fill up the family room and living room (has a fold out couch) whatever works for people. Threres pleanty of room to hang out on the deck and if i have time to finish the other deck there will be enough for a 50 person party between the 2 decks I've posted in Land of Lincon and Hoosier NECO boards but ANYONE is welcome to come.

I am tentatively in, depending on how my schoolwork unfolds. Five weeks in would be a good time for a break though, no doubt about it. Hopefully by then I'll have the car tuned as well. I have to drive half-way friggin there just to find a dyno shop that can tune on-site, and I don't feel like messing with ADC through the USPS cuz they SUCK.
