My Grandmother has a 2001 Taurus...How much would it cost-ish and would it be a good idea to swap my 2.5L V6 from the Cougar and the 3._ from the Taurus? If I wanted to do an MTX conversion, this would be the most oppertune time to do it, once the engine is OUT, yeah?

Think she'll notice if her car is gone for a week or so? :evil:

how much depends on alot of factors...

yes, it would be easier to do the tranny swap at the same time, but i don't recommend doing it.
