Jesse, remove the spark plug from the cylinder and fill it up just a bit with Kerosene or regular trans fluid (or Marvel Mystery oil) without any friction modifier. Let it sit over night, then remove the distributor coil wire (to make sure it doesn't start) and crank her over a few times while holding a rag in front of the hole to prevent oil or kerosene from spraying everywhere. (be sure that you don't hold the rag directly up against the plug hole or the intake stroke could suck the rag into the hole!!!) Once you're sure the cylinder is out of fluid, put the plug back in and fire it up. It may take a while to fire depending on how wet everything still is. The kerosene or trans fluid will have loosened the rings up a bit and should restore some lost compression.

BTW, had a 70 vette with 510 WHP... neener neener neener! LOL! :rofl:
