I used to use one on my old car and it worked great. I had a 10" buffer from wal-mart. I would use a normal polish and then apply a coat of carnuba liquid wax. I like Mothers but I know that many other people prefer Meguiers. Just know that a cleaner wax also contains slight agents that help remove wax buildup and oxidation. I only use a cleaner wax when I don't have time to completly polish and wax other peoples cars.Nothing brings out the depth abnd shine like a good polish and wax.Just make one swipe with the buffer and then touch the pad while it is still spinning to make sure that it does not get hot. Just do small area first and see what it looks like and then do a larger area. Have fun.
