Does anyone know where the ECU is located on the 99 cougar and its code? I'm thinking about purchaseing the chip and just curious where to look to get its #.

the code is on the driver door jam, the actual unit is behind the glove box, look up underneath it and you will see the grey box, thats the computer.

is the code on the door jam on the 2001's also? I looked there and didn't see it.
