DURATEC 35

I'd like to discuss the duratec 35 and entertain the possibility of swapping it in to the Cougar.

Taking the code name "cyclone" is an all aluminum 3.5 L V6 based off of the Duratec 3.0. It supposedly will or has been used to replace the duratec 30 in the Ford Five Hundred. Although I also read that production won't be until next year.Engine output could reach 300 hp, but will probably be 250 hp for most applications. Any chance we as cougar owners could utilize this beast?

Thoughts?

Such a different beast than the present generation of Duratec, you may as well swap in a 32V Northstar V8. Would be about as easy.

Except that would be an abolmination to put a GM engine into a Ford vehicle
