Lol, I used a power converter and put my desktop in for awhile, didn't work the greatest, but people loved playing Diablo 2 and other games on the LCD moniter I mounted on the front dash when we went on road trips
I connect my Compaq Presario 1700T notebook in my car from time to time. I bought an adapter for my Alpine head unit that allows me to connect the laptop to my car's audio system...15" screen = much better than 5" screen! I also use my computer's car power adapter to power it through an additional power point I had installed into my center console.

I was just wondering if anyone has heard of a computer in your car becuse my friend made this computer it is real neat . IT is the size of little shoebox... It has a dvd with cd writer, USB ports, Svideo port for an xbox, integradet sound and video, NIC card for networking and a 80 gig hard drive... We installed 200 mtv vidoes and 10 thousand mp3 files with windows 2000... WE shipped it to japan to this company that is having a contest on a new computer design, it is aluminum with neon lights on the botton i will soon post a pic of it it is really awsome i was just wandering if anyone else has heard of it... It has a hand held mouse and keyboard....We thought of it when napster came out
